I thought it might have been since it was a ''hidden'' file but that wasn't the case. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. System Specs- Intel i7 3770k Amd Radeon 270x 12 Gigs of Ram Windows 10 I get something a bit different for the witcher: enhanced edition and Witcher 2, same issue, but different. Game will open through editor, but I can't get past the menu selection, it just loops infinately after I make selections. In task manager I can see the game running in processes. If not, then the problem is at witcher itself. Have you had any issues downloading or preloading the game? I try to play the game, it shows me the key, I select o play the game, steam says I'm playing it for like, 3 seconds, and then absolutely nothing happens.
After that Witcher will launch again. That didn't actually fix the problem for me, however. Check for any information inside that. I checked the cache and still not working. I posted on the witcher subreddit about this too: update: rolling back to 1.
Try restarting your pc aswell. When I got on today, Galaxy shows me on 1. Then you won't launch the Witcher from Steam as it will be in Applications. I'm afraid to play it with that error in case I get a corrupted save game, or some other problem. When it downloads successfully nothing happens when I launch. Now it runs on 10130.
