I have not heard of this happening before. I was able to see the error message as well: It is an Application Error: Application Desktop. So it is not unusual for your MyFord Touch system screen to go black while you are driving and then reboot. If you lost it, who knows where it would fall and what problems it might cause. Does My Ford Touch not work by saying band or song name? What really counts is how much the management will stand behind the product and their word.
And it seems like the dealerships haven't been able to figure out a solution either. I have no issues connecting to Sync, but when I try and play music via Spotify or Pandora, my Bluetooth disconnects immediately. Stick with your Ford team, you are under warranty for certain items so you should be handled with the camera change. It would seem bits and pieces of that old forward are proving to be sentient — if less dramatic. The touch screen works fine. The screen has just been blank. I love the back up camera, when it is not dirty. Also pulled the fuse as well still nothing……. And, I never mess with pulling fuses. It is just too much of a pain the butt to have to pull the fuse just to see if it worked after an update. If you are no hearing a response, then this goes back to the amplifier or speaker output not working properly. I have a 2012 Focus that I purchased about a month ago.

Called my phone service supplier GreatCall and thay say they have assured me nothing has chaned with the Jitterbugs software or firmware, nor has anything changed with their signal transmission protocols!?!?! I would contact the crew of Ghost Adventurers and have them search for ghosts in your vehicle… Seriously, check your Settings folder on your iPhone… sometimes people have chosen motion-activated commands, such as Shake to Shuffle, etc. The dealership did not get back to me yet on this issue, I am guessing that they are avoiding giving me a response as they do not have any straight forward answer. It used that whenever I wanted to play music through bluetooth it would start it up automatically. It only allows phone calls to be received or made from your phonebook. I would recommend visiting a Ford service department… your year of vehicle has had the warranty on the Sync system extended for five years unlimited miles … you may even have some other issue that they could check by running a complete diagnostic. I am sure it is not the maps. Now try to make a phone call using the voice commands and the steering wheel controls. Nothing happened and the check engine light was illuminated.
Promptly after that, the car begins to shake and eventually I have to pull over for safety reasons. Go to your Galaxy S5, go to its System Settings, Go to Trusted Bluetooth Devices, if you see Sync, then Delete it. Thanks for the help in advance. It starts indexing and never stops, a common problem. I did pull the black cables off both batteries for about 25 minutes. My bluetooth was still off and it did not try to reboot the rest of my trip to work.
